DATE/TIME: The reunion is set for Friday through Sunday, July 29-31, 2005.  We will begin registration Friday morning and the opening ceremony will start at 1:00 pm.  The final activity will be a catered “pioneer picnic” and program at an historic, “land marked” barn on Sunday afternoon.  More about program plans below. 

LOCATION: Holiday Inn, Beatrice, Nebraska (see map below).  In an email sent to many of you this past spring, we were all excited about the reunion being held at the Beatrice High School.  The staff at the school had been very encouraging, but  when it came time to sign a contract with the school board, the Board refused to accept the deal.  We were a “private group” and their policy is not to rent to “private groups”–period–end of story! 

After attempting to find other non-commercial space, we have decided to hold the reunion at the Holiday Inn Express on the north edge of Beatrice, NE.  They are the only facility available to us that has sufficient space for the number of people we expect to attend the reunion.  They have a combination of meeting rooms that would accommodate approximately 300 people.  We are anticipating approximately 200 people, possibly more, and will need substantial space for displays.
